Tips to be Happy & Healthy
Happiness is the essence of a healthy life. It is not possible to be healthy in life without being happy. You may need to ask yourself these few questions about yourself:
Are you really happy?
How can we achieve happiness?
What does it mean to be happy?
Happiness is a natural feeling for human kind, however people do still think that they do not deserve happiness and would actually accept to remain in an unhappy state. We do therefore need to change our mindset and believe that we are here to be happy and our happiness should not cause unhappiness to anyone else. In this article, you will find some key points that can help you find happiness:
1. Try working out what makes you happy. You need to justify the action to yourself or others if it is harmful. Some people find their happiness by making others feel bad, which just ends up in more problems.
2. Identify ways to accomplish thing that makes you happy.
3. Make sure you hang out with happy people and people that want you to be happy. When you surround yourself with negative people, chances are that you too will become pessimistic, negative and unhappy. Negative thoughts and behavior simply increase levels of stress and create an unhappy atmosphere. If on the other hand you hang out with optimist people, your thoughts will also be positive and will spread happiness. A point to remember is that you should always be very conscious about your thoughts.
4. Do not consider or contemplate self pity. Self pity does get along with happiness. When something goes wrong, try finding out solution instead of dwelling in self pity. Such thoughts do also change the mood of the situation which causes unnecessary bitterness.
5. Spend at least few minutes a day praying and communicating with God, even if you don’t believe in a religion. By seeing the creations of this world, we cannot disagree that there is no creator. Who holds the world and the other planets in the universe? Who has created the human and all living creature with unique characteristics? You may get thousand scientific skeptics questioning such questions, but the beginning of the world is always a myth in Science. It proves that there is an almighty that holds you and me. Switch off your worldly thoughts from time to time and focus on the creator (god of your choice). This will help reduce your uncertainty and offer some hope.
6. It is important to treat yourself daily. Why not prepare a nice lunch, take a long and relaxing bath, do some relaxation exercises or do something you really love.
7. Find happiness and humor in every situation. Practice your mind to focus on the good things even if you are faced with a negative situation. Simply focus only on the happy and the things make you happy and charming.
8. Forget about the mistakes that others have made or the negative thoughts things they may say. Simply cleanse your thoughts and mind daily. Do not keep any anger in your heart about others. Try being up-front and sort out problems as they arise. If you cannot sort out the issues, simply just leave that thought and forgive the person who is creating the problem.
9. Focus on a nutritious diet which makes you healthy. Being overweight or not eating the correct food would make you feel tired and to create negative thoughts. Try exercising regularly as it would make your body feel healthy and fit. In turn, healthy life does provides you with more happiness.
10. Finally trust that God has created you to be happy and spread the same to others as well. Also believe that you deserve happiness and no worries can cause you to be unhappy.
Remember, happiness is the best medicine for hyper tension and stress. Happiness creates a sweet and creative atmosphere for us as well as the people around us. The choice is now yours, would you like to be happy?
